you can have it all said the man in the hat

but if your going to play you will have to pay

even if you run the opposit way

when the man at the gate calls your number

you will have to pay and pay all the way

everybodys always trying to be somebody else

the grass is always greener so they say

but green is green

and the somebody else you want to be

just wants to be somebody else

you got to be easy in your own skin

it starts inside out not outside in

its a mixed up muddled up world

everyones just pushing and shoving

trying to get to where they think they should be

but where you think you should be

is not always the place you really need to be now

and in the end the only thing you really need to know

is when to let go 

beware said the man in the hat

the face of gain is a face to cause you much pain

dont waste your life
