Matt, sorry I didn't get to you on monday as I said......my mama comes home today & I am racin'round to be sure she gits here safely, esp. in this killa' heat-wave.....but there is a HUGE Cold-Front ploughin'in tonight....some serious Storm&Thunder action......so it is really good she is home today. there is a problem on Don Dean's page.....I can no longer email him because a message comes up that his box is full!...which is curious as mine is even more full!!?....& the announcement in red letters is the strangest rendition of English I have ever read!!....
How are you anyhow???......I hope you & Cindy are real good. Peace, A
OK brother... if you can remember anything at all - a line or a word, I'll put `em back. Iz like this... I listened to Alida's song to her mama and it got me all nostalgic and crap. Our mama's 76 and we love her dearly. I posted some songs that go back to the Fiery Gizzard days when we were travelin' with her and loving every minute. I've let my guard down and am revealing our Tennessee / Mississippi roots.
Time is fleeting. I probably won't leave these up but a day or 2 but boy am I reflecting right now. God calls some folks to stand on the mountaintop and others like us to stand in the pea patch... the important thing is that we stand where He puts us. That's what we've tried to do... stand.
I dunno if these tunes are even appropriate - I'm just kinda wipin' a tear and remembering right now. May seem strange to say but we love y'all. Garsh... somebody pass me a bottle - I've been sober too long. Maybe it's not good to reminisce too much eh wot?
Wow, Web Guy - guess we're just ole teddy bears but the "Blue Ribbon" piece is lovely. Kinda wipin' a tear (but don't tell anybody). Reminds us life can be beautiful and can be meaningful and we do have the power to leave this place better than we found it. Thank you for that.
HeyWebGuythat's so funny. Many coincidences happened since I invited WOXII to submit their music to www.indieboom.com
First I saw the seagull's picture on Alida's profile and she only added that one until now. I really enjoy to watch the seagull's flying and I even composed a song called THE LAST SEAGULL. Then I got your friend request and besides playing and composing music I work as a Web Designer since 1996 and the name of my Company is very similar to your nickname. You are WebGuy and my company's name it is WEBGEYSER.COM ... Different meaning but very close in how it sounds.
I am very glad to be here and meet all this cool people!
You're too kind, brother. We're just a couple-a junkies mainlinin' Jesus. Been wantin' to write a song like that but Dabo says it's too bizarre even for us. Then he writes "Will You Give Him Everything?". I ain't listenin' to him no more! Blessings - Bo
